How to prepare for a smooth transition from LoanProz.com to LoanProz.net

  1. DON'T panic.  You will have access to the old DOT.COM account until December.
  2. TIMING:  The sooner you move the better off you will be.  The new system has more business features and less nuisances.
  3. Address Book:  The Everyone.net mail (OLD) does not export address book, so you will need to copy them. You can do so by opening each mail client and dragging and dropping the information 1 field   at a time.
    OR
IF you have the addresses on you computer, you may upload them to the new system. The format is "name, email  address" in CSV or you can import from Vcard format.  The new LoanProz.net system allows both importing and exporting of address book.
Importing and Exporting use basic Windows and IE methodology.  Support is not able to tutor you in how to use basic computer methodology.
  4. KEEPING archived email:  Create a folder in the new system "Keep".  Then simply forward the mail you want to keep to your new account, then save into the "Keep" folder.
  5. NEW ADDRESS:  Send a proactive message to your address book list that your address is changing and request an update.   You MAY want to consider turning on the "Vacation Message" in the old system to say something like, " I've moved to a new email address at: name@loanproz.net   If you do this, be aware this could cause you to receive MORE Spam.  So if you receive a lot of SPAM at the old account, you should skip this step.
  6. ATTACHMENTS:  The NEW system handles PDF & TIF (FAX) attachments differently than the OLD system.   YOU MUST SAVE the file to desktop BEFORE viewing.  This may change in the future.  Use judgment in opening any attachment and be sure you are running anti-virus on on your system.
