Freddie Mac's Single-Family Uniform Mortgage Instruments, as referenced in Exhibit 4 of the Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide), are now available to you electronically. You may reproduce copies of the forms from the electronic version. In addition, you may adjust the format of the forms (font, type size, page size and margins) as appropriate to reduce the number of pages, so long as the unaltered text is used and such adjustments meet all applicable regulations and local recording requirements.

For all forms available on this site, we will no longer produce stocks of printed versions. The forms posted on this site represent all of the Single-Family Uniform Mortgage Instrument forms currently acceptable on a standard basis by Freddie Mac.

Please note that the use of Uniform Instruments by Freddie Mac-approved Sellers/Servicers is subject to the terms and conditions of the Purchase Documents, as that term is defined in our Guide. The forms for Security Instruments (Mortgages or Deeds of Trust), in some jurisdictions, contain a space after the borrower's signature for a social security number. Freddie Mac does not require that this space be completed and, pursuant to the Guide, the forms may be reproduced without this space.

As stated in Exhibit 5 of the Freddie Mac Single Family Seller/Servicer Guide, wording changes permitted and/or required for Mortgages using the Single-Family Security Instruments, Notes, and Riders set forth in that Exhibit are not necessarily the only changes required under the law of a particular State with respect to a specific Seller or transaction. Each Seller/Servicer should have qualified legal counsel review loan documentation for compliance with the requirements of applicable law and/or local recording requirements.
